Michael Woma

Michael Woma was born in Medie a suburb of  Accra, Ghana. He started school at the age of six years old, he went to kindergarten through primary at Medie Presbyterian Primary School and went through to senior high school. He is the procurement and logistic manager at the Dagara Music and Arts Center, a school of Ghanaian arts and culture. He also acts as a contact between the company and its existing and potential clients in Ghana and internationally. Life to him means family and friends whom he trusts and they also trust him. He find comfort in being with people who are connected and interested in learning more about what they can do to help in the development of their community. He believes hard work is the means to attain what ever goals you put in your mind to achieve in life, that is why he always look for opportunities that will help him learn and improve his knowledge and skills in the development of his community. Michael works part time for Move The World as a Community Development Manager in his local community and has been on the front end of various painting projects at Sowers Academy and the development of StreetsmART. In his free time when he is not playing drums he is either reading, watching movies or listening to music. Michael like making new friends anywhere he finds himself.
