Born and raised in Canada- Claire has been connected to the stage and arts since she could walk. She moved to Winnipeg, in the center of Canada, to pursue a Dance degree and Psychology BA in 2007 where she found her love and interest in connecting people. Wanting her art to ‘mean’ something she left the country in 2012 for Namibia where she worked alongside Ombetja Yehinga Organisation in promoting aids awareness through dance. Upon returning to Canada, Claire packed two suitcases and moved to London in 2013 with determination to ‘make things happen.’ Searching the internet one cold windy day, she came across Move the World, then known as Awareness Through Dance, and on whim signed up for an internship- an internship that led into her role as Co-Founder. Claire gains energy from being around people and is driven to explore the world, connect with people and work together to create change.
