Megan has a passion for engaging in complex challenges and developing creative solutions that provide positive impact for as many people as possible. She began her career as a professional dancer, performing around the world; most notably at New York Fashion Week and as a movement director on Award Winning Feature Film ‘Desert Dancer’ featuring Frieda Pinto.
Whilst a dancer, she noticed the challenges dancers faced and recognised the lack of support they received. Passionate about developing the individuals behind the dancer, she began Awareness Through Dance (ATD) at age 22. ATD started as a network for dancers, yet the vision grew into two strands; professional and personal development support for dancers and service opportunities for dancers. The professional development arm became Dance London and ATD focussed on the service opportunities. In 2016 ATD became Move The World and registered as a charity in the UK.
Megan is a full time consultant with RISE Beyond, a consultancy she joined in 2015 started by her Dad. RISE supports organisations to build their collaborative capacity in a bid to win competitive advantage in increasingly disruptive environments. Her facilitation and coaching work sees her working with a multitude of clients.
She is currently studying a Masters in People and Organisational Development, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, an Ambassador for NEXUS – a global network for youth philanthropy and a partner at GIST – Global Impact Solutions Today.
